Chinkin's artisans have carefully illustrated the animal inspired design of the pen and embodied the essence of Japan's popular Chinkin art style. The convoluted lines and dots on the elegant black Urushi lacquer surface are filled by 18kt gold powder.

The guardian sakura is a symbol of wealth and prosperity. Each pen is adorned by 18kt rhodium plated gold nibs with an etched logo of Namiki and Mount Fuji. The pen is available in three different nib choices - fine, medium and broad.
