  • Description

The TWSBI Vac700R Iris is unique in that it uses a vacuum filling mechanism vs a piston mechanism like in the 580 and Eco. The Iris has a clear demonstrator body, with a rainbow-colored iridescent trim, and a stainless steel nib accented with an iridescent color.

It is TWSBI's belief that it is important to allow the user to disassemble and reassemble the pen, in order to completely experience the traditional aspects of owning and using a fountain pen. They also come packaged with a wrench and silicone grease, however neither of these accessories will need to be used immediately, as they are for long term care and maintenance. It's also important to be extra careful if you choose to disassemble the nib and feed, as the feed is very fragile.

Also, when taking apart this pen, note that the mechanism on the Vac700R removes out of the pen in a counter-clockwise direction. Unlike other TWSBI pens such as the 580, that go clockwise.

Please note: Due to the nature of this material, each pen can vary in color, making the pens unique and unlike one another. We are unable to honor any color requests.
