The design of the collection draws inspiration from Van Gogh’s signature impasto technique, where thick layers of oil paint create dynamic movement and depth. To replicate this texture, the barrel and cap of the Dreaming Sunflowers pen are meticulously crafted in micro-casted silver, sculpted to achieve the intricate ridges and swirls of Van Gogh’s brushstrokes.
Over this precious metal base, an enameling in rich shades of orange, yellow, and green is carefully applied, echoing the radiant tones of the Sunflowers series. Each pen is meticulously hand-painted, making every piece truly one of a kind. The fountain pen version features the renowned Power Filler Double Reservoir filling system, along with an 18kt yellow gold nib, providing an exceptional writing experience that reflects the high standards of craftsmanship and innovation for which Visconti is known.
The clip, a micro-cast in yellow gold-plated silver, takes the form of a paintbrush. The central ring is engraved with Van Gogh’s signature, highlighted with an orange enamel.
